Project & Program Management

BA Solutions LLC provides established project management approach formed by PMI-PMBOK industry-practiced standards supporting all phases of a charter from initiation to completion. Our service offerings include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Business Analysts with requirement identification and scope definition including but not limited to facilitating requirements elicitation session(s) with stakeholders, comprehending basic to complex business issues, and translating business needs into understandable requirements.
  • Facilitate the change management process including analysis and impact assessment.
  • Identify issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with the project.
  • Facilitate communication between development resources, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) vendors and the business area stakeholders.
  • Ensure that work performed under Task Order is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget.
  • Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with assigned development resources or COTS vendor to develop estimates on project deliverables and ensure the system is developed or configured in a timely fashion.
  • Provide solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels).
  • Lead administration training sessions and participate in user training sessions with the business lead(s) as part of system implementation.
  • Monitor issues and provide resolutions for up-to date status reports.
  • Review requirements against organizations policies and regulations, including security standards, to ensure the system meets all applicable laws and obligations.
  • Lead the planning and execution of system testing including development of test plans and requirements traceability matrices to ensure the system matches the requirements as well as organization’s quality standards and security policy.
  • Perform day-to-day management of the project.
  • Respond to reported system errors (bugs).
  • Plan and supervise the re-engineering of an existing system on an obsolete platform to a modern platform consistent with an organization’s IT Architectural standards.
  • Facilitate the implementation of patches and upgrades including leading the planning and execution of any necessary system testing.
  • Develop or participate in the development of TORFPs, Requests for Research (RFRs), and RFPs, as well as coordinate the corresponding procurement process.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Respond to phone calls and e-mails.
  • Schedule and attend ad hoc meetings.
  • Engage in task order performance discussions.
  • Participate in Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) assessments.
